Porsche Design Blackberry
German fashion label Porsche Design has teamed with BlackBerry for a third time to create a new Porsche Design smartphone.
The collaboration will create a phone that combines Porsche Design’s style with BlackBerry’s technology to develop a new version of the BlackBerry 10. Aligning with a brand that holds similar values in both technology and design will likely generate buzz around the new product.
New designs
The Porsche Design P’9983 smartphone will be the first BlackBerry 10 to have a QWERTY Keyboard with crafted glass-like keys and personalized auto-correction.
BlackBerry’s encrypted BBM instant messaging will be on the phone, allowing consumers to have secure communications. Also, there will be a unique pin for each consumer that will instantly recognize the specific user.
Exclusive accessories have also been created for the phone.

The 3.1-inch touch screen, 64 GB of storage and up to 14-hours of talk time will likely set this phone apart from other smartphones.

Starting Oct. 2, the phone will be available worldwide.
Other luxury brands have joined the world of smartphone technology.
For instance, after an unveiling at Baselworld and a launch party in London, Tonino Lamborghini’s smartphone, Antares TL-66, is now available for purchase at various retailers around the world.
Part of the Lamborghini Group since 1981, Tonino Lamborghini is the automaker’s lifestyle and accessories offshoot. Headed by its eponymous founder, Tonino Lamborghini designs watches, eyewear, accessories, small leather goods and mobile devices to achieve a branded look for Lamborghini enthusiasts (see story).
